Breeds of Companion Animals: Exotics
Students will be working on the iCEV Small Animal Management modules, the lesson plans described below are for the Breeds of Companion Animals: Exotics module.
Goal:
To gain insight into the variety of exotic small animals available as companion animals by detailing several popular breeds as well as the characteristics of each.
Description:
This presentation includes detailed information about popular exotic small animal breeds and various characteristics related to each breed.
Objectives:
1. To examine the popular species of exotic small animals.
2. To identify the characteristics of common companion breeds.
3. To understand which breeds are appropriate for different settings and uses.
